01.25.07 : Learn Cebu Trip on Saturday
First term students would get a chance to explore the island this Saturday, January 27, as they would have their first Learn Cebu trip with IAFT's photography mentor, Ted Madamba. Aimed at promoting the province's culture, the class is required for all term one students.
The group will be going to four key cities, namely Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, Cebu City and Talisay. This is the first of two trips slated for this term.
Interested participants should be at the lobby by eight in the morning (8 a.m.). Students are encouraged to bring their own gear, if they have them. For more information, please get in touch with Leslee Bonturan at ext. 5230.

Forget Scorsese. Forget Kurosawa. Forget dark and dreary for a while. Earn big bucks by going crazy!
Create gag-type, wacky videos and get a chance to earn thousands of pesos! Come up with anything - make a TV commercial spoof or a Monty Python-esque sketch. Act like total loonies and tape it. Be funny. Be freakishly weird. Each student is welcome to submit as many videos as they want.
Submit it to us and we'll post it on YouTube.com. If your video gets 100,000 views or more, we'll shower you with lots of money! The number of hits or views your video gets corresponds to the amount of money that we will award you.

Cameras officially began rolling earlier this week on Bigfoot Entertainment's latest feature, Deep Gold, starring International super model Bebe Pham and Jaymee Ong.
The film will encompass a 60-day shoot and will feature three students from the International Academy of Film and Television. Among the crew, Ian Allen Lim will be carrying out 3rd Assistant Director duties while Josemaria Basa will join the sound team. Both students are part of IAFT's first batch of graduates.
Third year student Rafael Gomez will collaborate with Dwight Buot, who was also part of the first batch and is the school's first ever scholar, in behind-the-scenes efforts for the action/thriller.
